Delamere Mud Warrior 5-miler


While the Delamere Forest Park undergoes building work to their car parks and the building of a new visitor centre hub, we have decided rather than not having an event in 2019, we would make some changes so that we are still able to run, and have therefore planned an AMAZING 5 Mile race through a quiet part of the forest.

These changes are;

  • This NEW event takes a new course route in the Whitefield part of Delamere Forest,  PLUS we have found MORE mud and water for you to work your way through.
  • Our 8ft and 12 ft walls are having a rest this year and we are not bringing them out for this event, meaning this will be a quick course to run for all those competitive people wanting to set a good finish time. This event will be chip timed. We will however still be including haybales, nets and drain pipes.
  • We wanted to bring you an evening event, where all race participants receive a bottle of beer (at the local Delamere Station House at the end for completion, along with a t shirt, medal, water and a snack bar at the event finish line.

NEW- kids mud warrior 1.5 miler.


Children between 8-15 years old will run through mud and water to complete this 1.5 mile fun run. All children will receive a medal, water, snack bar and sweets. Please note. Children under 13 must run accompanied by an adult. (The adult doesn't pay a fee)

There will be prizes for various age categories both in the adult and children races.

Refund Policy

Refunds

Refunds are only accepted where a medical professional has insisted you must not participate and you have written proof of this. Any refunds given will be less the booking fee when the original booking took place.


Transfers

We can accept transfers up to 3 weeks before the event. After this we cannot accept any via our admin team. We can accept late on the day transfers that have been decided amongst you and your fellow runner. You must write the new persons medical information and ICE details on the back of your race number. We can accept transfer to another event, minus the T shirt, Medal and booking fee costs. You will be sent a code for entering another event.
